'Justice for Jon': Hundreds join walk in tribute of Blood Tribe man, call for action
Several hundred people joined a Monday walk to honour Jon Wells, the Blood Tribe member who died after an altercation with Calgary police earlier in September. Marchers demanded justice for Wells’ death, which occurred at a Calgary hotel after officers “applied various uses of force” during an altercation that lasted more than three minutes.
