Video: After another shoulder surgery and a long rehab, Josh Norris talks about making his pre-season debut tonight when the Senators face the Canadiens in Montreal.

Norris re-injured the shoulder after he was knocked into the post in the back of the net by Nashville’s Cole Smith. He was immediately placed on long-term injury reserve (LTIR) and had the surgery done in early-March by a specialist in Vail, Colorado.

And the Senators opted not to have Norris participate in either of the club’s scrimmages the last couple of days as a precaution. He was on the ice with the second group later in the afternoon and was taking part in battle drills after the formal part of the skate had ended.

Norris suffered his latest shoulder injury in a game back in February. He provided a full update on his summer and how he felt after his first official skate with the club on Wednesday.
