Rescuers in Nepal searched on Tuesday for two dozen people still missing and tried to recover the bodies of those killed in weekend flooding and landslides that left more than 200 dead.

Nepal Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli on Tuesday said that more than 4,000 people were rescued in the rain-induced floods and landslides that have claimed 241 lives so far and wreaked havoc in the Himalayan country.

At least 193 people have been confirmed dead following severe flooding and landslides in Nepal, where heavy weekend rainfall was reported.
