We had previously reported that Vijay is teaming up with filmmaker H Vinoth for his next film, which will be his last outing before he gets into full-time politics. Now, the makers of the film, tentatively called Thalapathy 69, have announced that Pooja Hegde has joined the cast of the film.

The producers of the yet-to-be-titled Thalapathy 69 announced on Tuesday that Bobby Deol has been roped in to star in Vijay’s last film.

Actor Bobby Deol officially joined Thalapathy Vijay's last film, directed by H Vinoth, on Tuesday, October 1. While nothing about his character was revealed in the announcement, he is reportedly playing the main villain in the film.

Tentatively titled Thalapathy 69, the project helmed by H Vinoth, has already been announced as the final film in Vijay’s acting career.
