The Wild Card Series is a best-of-three format, so the first team to two wins advances. All three games in each series are played in one location, so the road team's only hope of playing postseason games in their stadium is by advancing.

"It's seems like everything's falling into place for them this year — so far. I think this is going to be their year," said Brewers fan Matthew Eberhardt. "I hope so," he added, with a laugh.
